About FSCDR

In 2012, the Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research (FSCDR) opened the nation’s first outpatient center dedicated exclusively to sickle cell disease (SCD) in Hollywood, FL. Today, FSCDR operates 15 Sickle Cell Centers of Excellence across Florida.We understand that living with SCD can feel overwhelming but you don’t have to do it alone. At FSCDR, we provide specialized, comprehensive care designed specifically for Sickle Cell Warriors (i.e. people living with sickle cell and their families).

FSCDR is on a mission to tirelessly treat, research, educate, support, and respect every Warrior. We are committed to making this disorder a livable, non-threatening condition.We stand with every Sickle Cell Warrior and we’re ready to stand with you.
