The Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research (FSCDR) Centers of Excellence is the nation’s first outpatient center dedicated exclusively to sickle cell disease. For more than a decade now, we’ve been serving Sickle Cell Warriors with innovative care, groundbreaking research, and unwavering support.
Today, we have 15 Sickle Cell Centers of Excellence in FL offering comprehensive care and advanced treatment to Sickle Cell Warriors.

About FSCDR
In 2012, the Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research (FSCDR) opened the nation’s first outpatient center dedicated exclusively to sickle cell disease (SCD) in Hollywood, FL. Today, FSCDR operates 15 Sickle Cell Centers of Excellence across Florida.We understand that living with SCD can feel overwhelming but you don’t have to do it alone. At FSCDR, we provide specialized, comprehensive care designed specifically for Sickle Cell Warriors (i.e. people living with sickle cell and their families).
